CANCELED - Backyard Biodiversity & Budburst - Beechwood

Discover the variety of life that may exist in your own backyard and how you can utilize native plants to create and maintain wildlife habitat. This program will also discuss how to use these plants in your backyard while helping science. Participants will learn how to make careful observations of the timing of leafing, flowering, and fruiting phases of plants (phenophases) throughout the year through Project BudBurst.  Learn how scientists and educators can use the data to discover how plant species respond to changes in climate locally in your own backyard.
